Bit by Bit

An adventure that evolves with you.

A single-player action-adventure in early design, built around a playful idea: what if your hero could grow through the visual history of games?

Meet Bit, a small hero whose look, abilities, and weapon evolve across nine visual eras—from the simplicity of early pixels to more detailed, expressive forms. Each world keeps its own visual identity, even when a more advanced Bit returns.

A recognizable hero, reimagined. The notched crest, bright cyan eyes, and stepped mantle connect Bit’s changing forms.
Old worlds, new possibilities. The design explores discoveries, boss encounters, and reasons to revisit earlier eras with new abilities.
More than a change of scenery. Character, weapon, and environment studies explore how visual evolution can shape the adventure.

These are early concept designs, not gameplay screenshots. The game is not yet available to play, and its design may change.
